I was just wondering if you were able to explain the strumming pattern of this song in some simpler manner due to the fact that i am struggling to grasp it… other than that i find this tutorial is amazing (Y)
Ben,
Really appreciated finding your site! Thanks for serving!
Thanks a lot, Ben. Most people call me Brian, though.
… I kid…
Hi Mr. Brain,
Thanks for the “Our God” song that is very helpful for me. Thanks a lot.
And i want to ask you please show me to play “Tree” by Justin Rizzo , i have search for it in YouTube but i didnt find any thing
Please help me with this song if you can, thanks.

No problem
Hey Lala, I don’t know that I’ve ever heard that song. I’ll have to look it up. Thanks!
Ben.
Thank you for giving yourself to train the grey of God. You don’t know what a big blessing you are.
Thanks!
Just curious… Do I refer to myself as Ben somewhere in this video? Ha! (I go by Brian)
Brian,
Your resource is amazing and exactly what i been looking for, thanks for all your work and effort you have put into this amazing website.
Would you happen to have any videos on leading a worship band ?
Thanks a lot, Nick!
I haven’t really thought of doing videos on how to lead a band. Honestly, I’m not sure I’d feel all that qualified, as I’m definitely still learning how to effectively do it. Maybe in the future. Thanks again!
Hi Brian
I am starting a youth band, have you got sheet music for a pianist ? this song and How Great is our God
Hey Nick. Sorry – I’m not much good for piano music. I’m pretty helpless in front of a keyboard.
Good stuff. But can you explain the strumming pattern please? Thanks
Which cord sheet would you recommend for a second guitar??
Hey Daniel,
If you’ve got two acoustic guitars going, it works pretty well to have them playing different voicings of the same chords. So, if you play the song in B, you could have one guitar player use a capo on the 4th fret and play G chords while the other player uses a capo on the 2nd fret and plays A chords.
Brian—Awesome job teaching and explaining. You are helping me tremendously! God bless you and your ministry. Scott
Thanks, Scott! Really appreciate it. Keep it up.
This is great. Could you explain the number of times you strum down for each chord? Thanks
You could just do 8th note strums – which would mean 8 per measure.
Thanks for sharing. Any chance of a tutorial of Bethel Church…one thing remains? I found you on you tube and subscribed to you these and liked your page on FB.
Newer player hear jut learning and you made it easy to learn a few new songs.
I love that song. I’ve got a long list of songs to do tutorials over – I’ll add this one.
Brian,
These tutorials are outstanding! Several of these songs I play often for house church but always feel like the song is missing something. The style in which you teach and play is great and has really improved my playing.
God bless you and thanks a lot!
Joe
Thanks, Joe – this is very encouraging!
