A great congregational song from the Love Ran Red album. This one is in the key of C and is very easy to play. I especially like how catchy the Pre-Chorus is.

Great song from Chris Tomlin’s Love Ran Red album. Very singable and easy to play on guitar. The album key is Ab, but I suspect most people will play it in G, which is the key I’ve played and taught the song in.

Our take on this classic Christmas song. We’ve simplified it a lot, but this one can be difficult to sing.
This song has a dark, minor feel. It’s in the key of Em (relative minor of G). We’ve really simplified this classic Christmas song and made it very easy to play on guitar.
This song works great as an opener – lots of energy. The timing and rhythm of the chords can be a bit of a challenge for a beginner, but we break down the strumming to make it easier to figure out.
I Surrender is in 6/8 time, and you could say it’s in the key of Dm (relative minor of F), which gives it a darker feel. This one is fun to sing – the bridge can be a bit high. I teach this using key of C chords with a capo on the 5th fret.
One of my favorites from the Passion Take It All album. This one is in the key of A on the album, and I play/teach it using key of G chords with a capo on the 2nd fret. I love how the song incorporates the ‘I Surrender All’ hymn at the end.
A fresh take on the hymn ‘Amazing Grace’. This song is just powerful. Hillsong’s version features a female lead, and it’s in the key of G. I’ve taught and played the song using key of G chords but with a capo on the 4th fret, which works for a male lead.
Probably the most popular contemporary worship song of all time, and really easy to play and sing.
