Whole Heart (Hold Me Now) is one of the more popular singles from the ‘People’ album by Hillsong United. We love it, but it can be pretty hard to sing in the album key. For a male lead, I only moved it up two steps (to the key of F) and it felt pretty good. If you’re looking to lead this as a female vocalist, I’d suggest trying the key of C or D if the album version is too high.
Play it yourself
In our acoustic cover I played using the key of D chords with a capo on the 3rd fret. This put me in the open key of F. If you’d like to play along with the album, just move the capo to the 2nd fret and use the same chords.
