Arrangement
Artist: Hillsong (Darlene Zschech)
Album: Ultimate Worship
Shout To The Lord by Darlene Zschech (of Hillsong) was one of my all-time favorite worship songs in the early to mid 90’s. I was in high school from ’94 to ’98, and during that time worship music was very influential in my life (that’s when I learned to play guitar as well). This song was a staple for us at youth group and events like summer camp and youth conferences.
I’m playing this in the key of G. There are many arrangements of this song out there – this one is sort of my own take on it.
Play it yourself
In our acoustic cover I’m playing this in the key of G, which is pretty low for a male vocal (and pretty high for a female vocal). If it’s too low for you, try using a capo on the 2nd or 3rd fret.
