Develop values and vision

As you begin your journey leading worship at your church (or if you’ve been there a while and never done it), establishing a set of values and a vision for your worship team is extremely important. These values and this vision will inform every decision you make, and ultimately they will identify and begin to define who your worship team is.

Remember that these values and the vision should be developed only after considerable prayer – seek God’s heart as you define these things. The vision of the church and the vision of your worship team should ultimately come from God.
