Ty HM30 TM – Line 6 HX Tone Match Patches (Helix, HX Stomp, POD Go)

PATCHES

This download includes patches for Helix, HX Stomp, and POD Go. Please make sure to import the appropriate patch for your hardware – they are not interchangeable.

The pack includes 2 patches (each with SC and HB options). We’ve tone-matches each channel of this amplifier labeled ‘Ch 1’ and ‘Ch 2’. Channel 1 is the 12ax7 channel and is brighter/chimier. Channel 2 is the EF86 channel which is thicker and has more gain.

• Ty HM30 Ch1/2 WT S – This patch uses the IR’s and is meant for guitars with single coils.
• Ty HM30 Ch1/2 WT H – This patch uses the IR’s and is meant for guitars with humbuckers.
• NOTE: The HX Stomp and POD Go folders include ‘FX” patches. These patches include the additional effects blocks from the full Helix patch.
  

OUR TYLER HM30, NOW IN YOUR LINE 6 HARDWARE

For these patches, we tone-matched the stock HX amp models to our Tyler HM30 amplifier. The result is a set of Impulse Responses that completely transform the HX amp models, making the Line 6 hardware sound exactly like our amp, and the microphones, preamps, and EQ chains that we use to record it.

The HM30 is Tyler’s take on the classic C-30 design from Matchless. It features two channels, a 12ax7 channel that is reminiscent of the brilliant channel of an AC30, and an EF86 channel that is thicker with more gain. Our HM30 features a ‘Ten Twelve’ closed back cabinet that has a ten inch Eminence speaker and a twelve inch Celestion G12H30 speaker.

We’ve tone-matched both channels of the amp mic’d with a Royer 121 and Earthworks SR25 through a stereo Neve 1073 preamp.

The HX Stomp and POD Go patches cannot fit all the effects into a single patch. For those platforms, we include the amp and essential effects in the main patches, and then we include the additional effects blocks in the ‘FX’ patches. Feel free to mix and match the additional ‘FX’ blocks into the main patches to suite your needs.
