In this video, I’m joined by a very special guest – my son Seth. Seth loves to play guitar but he has a tendency to drop (or throw) the pick into the sound hole of the guitar. I demonstrate my tried and true method of getting those pesky picks out of the guitar (I call it the lift-and-shake), and I also teach Seth about the parts of a guitar.
Hello Seth!
Hey Brian, what if I dropped the pick in the sound hole during a congregation worship? (I’m afraid of that to happen, haha.)
The answer to this one is easy! Get one of those pick holders for your mic stand (if you use one), and then just grab an extra. Get that pick out later. Ha, it would be funny, though, if you did the lift and shake between a song – play it up and let the congregation know the struggles we musicians face day in and day out ๐
Funny! my 2 YO does the same thing ALL the time!!
Haha – I think it’s a game for him. How many picks can I throw into this guitar?!
Hey,
Hello John, let’s say We fallen the actual choose within the seem pit throughout a members praise? (Iโm scared of this to occur.
Hahaha. My son is also 2 and he loves the ‘lift and shake’! Seems we are both experts at flinging the pick into the sound hole…
