Happy Day works well as an opener or anywhere you need an upbeat song. I teach this song using key of G chords with a capo on the 4th fret, which makes it in the open key of B.
Brilliant tutorial again, thank you! =DWriting the strumming pattern on this page is especially helpful!
@Smiley Sam Thomas Good – know. Thanks, Sam. I’m planning to update all the past tutorials with the strumming pattern like this one.
I have really enjoyed all of these tutorials they have been really helpful I’m just learning and this has helped a lot
I think the chords for the Key of G with a capo have an error. I noticed that the intro should end in a D rather than a C
Hi Brian;
I’m having trouble replicating the last chord of the intro riff…is it just index finger on the 1st fret of the b string, 3rd fret of e? Playing in key of G. Thanks!
I absolutely love the strum pattern being on the page, but I think you state a different pattern in the video: D-DUD-DU-UDU-UDU
Thanks! :):):)
