3P DWEAVR TM – Line 6 HX Tone Match Patches (Helix, HX Stomp, POD Go)

PATCHES

This download includes patches for Helix, HX Stomp, and POD Go. Please make sure to import the appropriate patch for your hardware – they are not interchangeable.

The pack includes 2 patches (each with SC and HB options). We’ve tone-matched both channels of this amplifier – both the Plexi and the Tweed channel options.

• 3P DW Plexi/Tweed WT S – This patch uses the IR’s and is meant for guitars with single coils.
• 3P DW Plexi/Tweed WT H – This patch uses the IR’s and is meant for guitars with humbuckers.
• NOTE: The HX Stomp and POD Go folders include ‘FX” patches. These patches include the additional effects blocks from the full Helix patch.
  

OUR 3RD POWER DREAM WEAVER, NOW IN YOUR LINE 6 HARDWARE

For these patches, we tone-matched the stock HX amp models to our 3rd Power Dream Weaver amplifier. The result is an Impulse Response that completely transforms the HX amp models, making the Line 6 hardware sound exactly like our amp, and the microphones, preamps, and EQ chains that we use to record it.

The Dream Weaver combines classic American (Fender) and classic British (Marshall)  circuits. On the American side, there is a a Blonde (Bassman) and Tweedn (Deluxe) setting, and on the British side there are two different Plexi options. Every channel of this amp sounds incredible, making it an extremely versatile amplifier. The amp is in a 1×12 combo version with a Celestion Alnico Gold speaker.

We’ve tone-matched both the Tweed side and the vintage Plexi side, resulting in two completely separate patches.

We mic’d the cab with a Royer 121 and Earthworks SR25 through a stereo Neve 1073 preamp.

The HX Stomp and POD Go patches cannot fit all the effects into a single patch. For those platforms, we include the amp and essential effects in the main patches, and then we include the additional effects blocks in the ‘FX’ patches. Feel free to mix and match the additional ‘FX’ blocks into the main patches to suite your needs.
