Description

TONE MATCH PATCHES, CAPTURES, AND PROFILES OF OUR ORANGE ROCKERVERB 100 MK3

For these presets, we have captured our Orange Rockerverb 100 mk3. The result is set of presets and captures that sound exactly like our amp, and the microphones, preamps, and EQ chains that we use to record it.

The Rockerverb 100 mk3 from Orange is an impressively versatile amp with an absolutely awesome dirt channel. You could think of Orange as the ‘other British’ sound – it’s not quite Vox and not quite Marshall – definitely it’s own thing. The clean channel has chime and depth, but doesn’t really sound like a Fender or an AC30, and the dirt channel is aggressive yet vintage. We think this is one of the coolest sounding (and looking) amps in our collection.

TONE MATCH (Gen 2) PATCHES (Applies to Line 6 and Fractal presets)

These are part of our ‘Tone Match’ line of patches. To create these patches, we make custom IR’s that ‘match’ the HX and Fractal amp models to our real-world amp. The result is the Line 6 and Fractal units sound almost exactly like our actual amplifiers.

The ‘Gen2’ indicates a new process we’ve used when Tone Matching our amplifiers that takes more of the amplifier’s cab and speaker into account, resulting in a more accurate tone match impulse response.

CAB OPTIONS

We have captured and tone-matched this amp through three different cabs. For capture devices, you’ll receive a set of captures through each cab (as well as direct captures). For Line 6 and Fractal devices, we have given you three different TM2 IR cab files. Swapping out the cabs replicates running the amp through different cabs. Simply swap out the IR in the cab block to experiment:

  • M = Marshall 1982B JH 4×12 Cab
  • BG = Mesa Boogie 4×12 Slant (our favorite)
  • OB = Orange PPC 212OB 2×12 Cab

LINE 6 patches available for Helix, HX Stomp, and POD Go

Please make sure to import the appropriate patch for your hardware – they are not interchangeable.

  • ORNG RV100 WT S – This patch uses the IR’s and is meant for guitars with single coils.
  • ORNG RV100 WT H – This patch uses the IR’s and is meant for guitars with humbuckers.
  • NOTE: The HX Stomp and POD Go folders include ‘FX” patches. These patches include the additional effects blocks from the full Helix patches.

TONEX AMP CAPTURE PRESETS

For Tonex we have captured the amp through its entire gain range for all available channels (Clean and Dirt). The Amp Model Presets and Profiles are numbered – higher numbers mean more gain. The ‘Edge of Breakup’ settings that we like to use with a pedal board are usually the 2 and/or 3 profile/capture.

We’ve captured the amp through the following cabs, as well as direct:

  • Marshall 1928B JH 4×12
  • Mesa Boogie 4×12 Slant
  • Orange PPC212OB 2×12 Open Back

You get a total of 24 captures.

QUAD CORTEX CAPTURES

For Quad Cortex, we have captured the amp through its entire gain range of the amp. The captures and are numbered – higher numbers mean more gain. The ‘Edge of Breakup’ settings that we like to use with a pedal board are usually the 2 and/or 3 capture.

We’ve captured the amp through the following cabs, as well as direct:

  • Marshall 1928B JH 4×12

ALL-IN-ONE PRESETS

Also included are gig-ready (Sunday morning ready, to be more precise) all in one presets utilizing captures of this amp and our drive pedals. We’ve included separate presets for both single coil quipped and humbucker equipped guitars. You can use these presets in both Scene and Stomp mode, and they cover a ton of sonic territory.

HOW DO YOU GET THE CAPTURES?

When you place your order, we will need to manually send you the captures through the ‘Cortex Cloud’ app by Neural DSP, available for both iOS and Android devices. First, you need to have the app installed and you must have an account through the app (go here to create an account and access the app).

This is how we will send you the captures:

  1. Please include your Cortex Cloud app username in the ‘Notes’ field when checking out. If you do not include this, we cannot send you the captures. After we receive your order, we (WorshipTutorials) will follow you on the app.
  2. Follow ‘WorshipTutorials’ on the Cortex Cloud app. This will make us ‘friends’ through the app :). If you are not following us, we cannot send you the captures.
  3. After we receive your order, and we ‘Friends’ on the app, we will send you the captures through the app. We bundle the captures into presets, so you will receive one (or more) presets that include all the captures. You will find the captures in the ‘Shared with me’ section on your Quad Cortex.
  4. Please allow up to 5 business days for us to send you the captures. Most orders will be fulfilled within two business days or less. This fulfillment process must happen manually – we will do our best to get you the files quickly. Once the NDSP marketplace opens, this process may change.

BUTTON CONFIGURATION

We’ve programmed the buttons on the Headrush Prime to act like a traditional pedalboard. You’ll see individual effects mapped to the different buttons and labeled appropriately. If you’d like to make changes, the process is simple – the Headrush Prime manual provides great documentation if you’d like to create scenes or other button mapping.

AMP CHANNEL BUTTON

This preset uses two Amp Clone blocks – one is a clone of the clean channel and the other is a clone of the dirty channel. We are using Scenes to switch between the two channels. The button labeled ‘AMP CH’ will toggle between the clean and dirty amp clones, effectively changing channels on the amp from clean to dirty.

This uses scene programming, but the other effects will not be changed by this scene switch. When the light is green, you’re on the clean channel. When it is red, you’re on the dirty channel. Make sure that the clean amp clone is first in the chain, and the 2nd amp clone is the dirt channel.

KEMPER PROFILES & PERFORMANCES

For Kemper we have profiled the amp through its entire gain range for all available channels (Clean and Dirt). The Profiles are numbered – higher numbers mean more gain. The ‘Edge of Breakup’ settings that we like to use with a pedal board are usually the 2 and/or 3 profile.

KEMPER PERFORMANCE

We’ve also included a fully featured Kemper performance with options for both single coils and humbuckers.

We’ve captured the amp through the following cabs, as well as direct:

  • Marshall 1928B JH 4×12
  • Mesa Boogie 4×12 Slant
  • Orange PPC212OB 2×12 Open Back

You get a total of 24 captures.
