Sinking Deep is a great ballad from Hillsong Young & Free, who are known for more of a pop sound. It’s led by piano on most recordings, although it works well from acoustic guitar, and you can turn this one into a power ballad and bring in the band and make it huge at the end if you want to go that direction.
In our resources, we’ve followed the arrangement from This Is Living, and I’ve played it in the key of G. On the album it’s in the key of Bb, which is really high for a male vocal lead. G or A work well for a male lead, and I’d try D or E for a female lead.

On the album, the song is in Bb which is pretty high for a male lead. In my acoustic video and tutorial, I play the song in G, but it also works well in A. For a female lead, try D, E, or F.
