Description
TONE MATCH PATCHES, CAPTURES, AND PROFILES OF OUR VINTAGE 1963 FENDER BASSMAN
For these presets, we have captured our vintage 1963 Fender Bassman. The result is set of presets and captures that sound exactly like our amp, and the microphones, preamps, and EQ chains that we use to record it.
This is the highly sought-after 6G6-B circuit. It’s known as a Tuxedo (hence, the ‘Tx’) amp because for just under a year from late ’63 to early ’64, Fender produced this 6g6-B brown-panel circuit but put a black panel on the amp before they transitioned completely to the ‘black panel’ lineup in 1965. This Bassman is also unique due to the Presence control.
TONE MATCH (Gen 2) PATCHES (Applies to Line 6 and Fractal presets)
These are part of our ‘Tone Match’ line of patches. To create these patches, we make custom IR’s that ‘match’ the HX and Fractal amp models to our real-world amp. The result is the Line 6 and Fractal units sound almost exactly like our actual amplifiers.
The ‘Gen2’ indicates a new process we’ve used when Tone Matching our amplifiers that takes more of the amplifier’s cab and speaker into account, resulting in a more accurate tone match impulse response.
Line 6 Patches available for Helix (floor, LT, and Native), HX Stomp (including Stomp XL), and POD Go.
Patches:
- ’63 B-MAN TM2 WTs – This patch uses the IR’s and is meant for guitars with single coils.
- ’63 B-MAN TM2 WTh – This patch uses the IR’s and is meant for guitars with humbuckers.
- NOTE: The HX Stomp, POD Go, and FM3 folders include ‘FX” patches. These patches include the additional effects blocks from the full Helix/AXE-FX III patches.

TONEX AMP CAPTURE PRESETS – Compatible with the Tonex/Amplitube Software and the TONEX pedal
For Tonex, we have captured the amp through its entire gain range of the amp.The tone model captures increase through the entire gain range of the amp for all available channels.
The Tone Model presets are numbered, and the number corresponds to the level of gain in the tone model. Lower numbers equal lower gain, and higher numbers equal higher gain. Typically a ‘2’ or ‘3’ is the ‘edge of breakup’, and is the perfect option to use with pedals.
QUAD CORTEX CAPTURES
For Quad Cortex, we have captured the amp through its entire gain range of the amp. The captures increase through the entire gain range of the amp for all available channels.
The captures are numbered, and the number corresponds to the level of gain in the tone model. Lower numbers equal lower gain, and higher numbers equal higher gain. Typically a ‘2’ or ‘3’ is the ‘edge of breakup’, and is the perfect option to use with pedals.
ALL-IN-ONE PRESETS
Also included are gig-ready (Sunday morning ready, to be more precise) all in one presets utilizing captures of this amp and our drive pedals. We’ve included separate presets for both single coil quipped and humbucker equipped guitars. You can use these presets in both Scene and Stomp mode, and they cover a ton of sonic territory.
HOW DO YOU GET THE CAPTURES?
When you place your order, we will need to manually send you the captures through the ‘Cortex Cloud’ app by Neural DSP, available for both iOS and Android devices. First, you need to have the app installed and you must have an account through the app (go here to create an account and access the app).
This is how we will send you the captures:
- Please include your Cortex Cloud app username in the ‘Notes’ field when checking out. If you do not include this, we cannot send you the captures. After we receive your order, we (WorshipTutorials) will follow you on the app.
- Follow ‘WorshipTutorials’ on the Cortex Cloud app. This will make us ‘friends’ through the app :). If you are not following us, we cannot send you the captures.
- After we receive your order, and we ‘Friends’ on the app, we will send you the captures through the app. We bundle the captures into presets, so you will receive one (or more) presets that include all the captures. You will find the captures in the ‘Shared with me’ section on your Quad Cortex.
- Please allow up to 5 business days for us to send you the captures. Most orders will be fulfilled within two business days or less. This fulfillment process must happen manually – we will do our best to get you the files quickly. Once the NDSP marketplace opens, this process may change.
KEMPER PROFILES AND PERFORMANCES – Compatible with the Kemper Head and Stage products
For Kemper, we have profiled the amp through its entire gain range for all available channels (Normal and Bass). The Profiles and are numbered – higher numbers mean more gain. The ‘Edge of Breakup’ settings that we like to use with a pedal board are usually the 2 and/or 3 profiles.
KEMPER PERFORMANCES
We’ve also included fully featured Kemper performances with options for both single coils and humbuckers.
HEADRUSH PRIME (not compatible with other Headrush units)
For Headrush Prime, we’ve included both rigs (patches) and amp clone(s). The Amp Clone is from the Normal channel of the amp (our favorite), and we’ve built both a ‘SC’ and ‘HB’ rig around the amp clone.
Headrush Prime Signal Flow:
- Input
- Compressor
- Pitch
- Overdrives
- Volume
- Amp Clone
- Tremolo
- Chorus
- Delays: 1/8 delay, Dotted 8th delay, Dual stereo delay
- Reverbs: Subtle and Ambient
- Output
FOOTSWITCH CONFIGURATION
We’ve programmed the switches on the Headrush Prime to act like a traditional pedalboard. You’ll see individual effects mapped to the different buttons and labeled appropriately. If you’d like to make changes, the process is simple – the Headrush Prime manual provides great documentation if you’d like to create scenes or other button mapping.
