IMPORTANT NOTES

1. APPLE MAINSTAGE REQUIRED. This patch is designed to work with MainStage by Apple. It will not work on any other piece of software. MainStage is available here (or in the Mac App store): https://www.apple.com/mainstage/. Make sure to use the latest version of the software.

2. ALL PATCH SOUNDS ARE BUILT IN: This patch does not use any 3rd party plugins or instruments/sounds. Everything you need comes stock with MainStage.

3. IMPORTANT: LATENCY: This patch contains verbs and effects that can add latency depending on the speed of your system. If you get a “Latency Warning Window” when you open MainStage, make sure to click “Ignore”. DO NOT CLICK “BYPASS”. Otherwise you will disable all of your effects which makes up a large portion of the soundscape. You can reduce the buffer size in your audio preferences to reduce latency response. (SEE MAINSTAGE OFFICIAL MANUAL)

INCLUDED SOUNDS AND EFFECTS

The instruments/sounds we’ve included in this patch are designed to cover a wide variety of keys sounds found in modern worship music.

Each sound/effect is assigned to a fader with the appropriate label. You can then assign these faders to physical controls on your midi controller to be able to fade sounds in/out at your discretion. Certain sounds are only mapped to certain keys of the keyboard, which are visible in the patch. See Training Videos on our channel for more in-depth information.

THIS SONG PATCH INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING DESIGNED SOUNDS:

FADER 1 : Analog Pad – Key Range FULL – A warm analog classic 80’s style synth pad. Designed by Fuller using MainStage Native E2 Sampler. Custom Effects Routing to enhance depth and response. Send 1 to Shimmer Verb, Send 2 to Plate Reverb. Send 3 to Delay 1/4, Send 4 to Delay 1/8th. 

FADER 2 : Warm Synth Pad – Key Range FULL A brighter layer analog pad synth to add movement and depth to your chords. Designed by Fuller using MainStage Native Synth “ALCHEMY”. Custom Verb Routing to enhance depth. Send 1 to Shimmer Verb, Send 2 to Plate Reverb. 

FADER 3 : Stab Synth – Key Range B0-B3 A n aggressive dance style synth to add energy and body to your chords. The octave transposition also allows you to stay in the low range and get the middle “sweet spot” sound of the synth. Designed by Fuller using MainStage Native Synth “E2”. Custom Verb Routing to enhance depth. Send 1 to Shimmer Verb, Send 2 to Plate Reverb. Send 3 to Delay 1/4, Send 4 to Delay 1/8th. 

FADER 4 :Lead Synth 1 – Key Range F3- B4 A smooth classic MOOG style lead sound with a little bit of portamento glide between notes.. Designed by Fuller using MainStage Retro Synth. Custom Verb Routing to enhance depth. Send 1 to Shimmer Verb, Send 2 to Plate Reverb. Send 3 to Delay 1/4, Send 4 to Delay 1/8th. 

FADER 5 :Big Lead Synth – Key Range F3- B4 A secondary classic MOOG style lead sound to add depth to the lead line. Designed by Fuller using MainStage Retro Synth. Custom Verb Routing to enhance depth. Send 1 to Shimmer Verb, Send 2 to Plate Reverb. Send 3 to Delay 1/4, Send 4 to Delay 1/8th.

FADER 6: Arp Synth: Key Range F#3-E1 Rhythmically gated bright synth pad (32nd notes) – this will add a pulse to any song. Designed by Fuller using MainStage Native Synth “ALCHEMY”. Send 1 to Shimmer Verb, Send 2 to Plate Reverb. Send 3 to 1/4 Delay, Send 4 to 1/8 Delay.

FADER 7 – 8 : UN-ASSIGNED – By default these patches are unassigned. This song does not really need additional sound layers in our opinion. The previous  three sound layers should cover the track well and help to keep computer CPU usage to an optimal level. But by all means, feel free to add instruments if you are feeling lucky! 

THIS PATCH INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING EFFECTS:

Reverb: A basic (and great sounding) plate reverb

Shimmer: Ethereal shimmer reverb created using stock plug-ins.

Delay 1: 8th note delay (controlled by the ‘tap tempo’ button or the patch tempo)

Delay 2: Dotted 8th note delay (controlled by the ‘tap tempo’ button or the patch tempo)

TEMPO: 101 BPM, 4/4

USAGE

TRANSPARENCY

The ‘Transparency’ knob will cut low end from the Pads drones. This only affects the Worship Tutorials Pads (triggered by the keys buttons). You can basically turn them into a shimmer type of pad sound.

MASTER EQ

This will affect lows/highs of all the included instruments/effects.

TAP TEMPO

This button will control the tempo of all the time based effects (delays, arp, etc).

EMERGENCY

This button stops everything!

TRANPOSE

If you transpose a patch in MainStage, the Ambient Pads Player 11 does NOT transpose audio. Simply select the Pads key you want to trigger, regardless of transposed patch.

WORSHIP TUTORIALS PADS 11 SAMPLES BUILT IN

We’ve included a sample of Worship Tutorials Pads 11 in this patch as well. These are base pads that play underneath everything – they’re the same as our award-winning Pads products, just built into MainStage. Just press the button and the Pads play – you can then play anything you want on top of them. They work for both Major and Minor Keys.

CONCERT AND PATCH INCLUDED

We’ve included both a concert, a set list and several individual patches.

The patch itself is called ‘Song Title – Comb X’. You can use the concert to get started right away, or import the ‘Song Title – Comb X’ patch into any existing concert.
