The Vinny is a five watt, vintage inspired amplifier that packs a pretty huge punch. To our ears, it sounds a bit like a vintage Fender Deluxe. You can get some great clean tones out of this one, but it sounds awesome when you push it.

The Tyler HM18 is a take on the Vox AC15/Matchless Lightning style amplifier. You’ll get a good bit of chime, but this one is also warm, and it delivers some nice lower midrange when pushed.

For many guitar players, the Blues Junior is one of the first tube amplifiers you play or own. These presets and captures can bring some of that nostalgia back to your playing, but this isn’t just any Blues Jr. Ours is one of the original Pro Guitar Shop Humboldt Hot Rod amps, meaning the tone stack has been tweaked and the stock speaker replaced with a Cannabis Rex speaker. It also has the Bill M mods, which makes it pretty special (as far as Blues Junior’s go)

Our Lightning is a 15w 2×10 combo that reminds us of a great sounding AC15, but with Matchless’s distinct top end brilliance and chime. It will go from beautiful chimey cleans to awesome overdriven tones, and handles effects extremely well. A pair of Matchless Special Design G10 speakers give this amp some serious midrange punch as well.

he Classic Reverb Signature is a 100w amplifier that sounds like the a very big (and very expensive) Fender. The cleans are deep and lush, reminiscent of the greatest of the black-panel Fenders. This amp is the pre-cursor to the John Mayer signature, and works very well as a clean pedal platform.

The Bloomfield Drive is a 100w amplifier is extremely touch sensitive and capable of beautifully rich harmonic overdrive. We’ve set this one up a little dirtier (where this amp comes alive), but you can get very nice clean tones by rolling the volume back a bit on your guitar – go old school.

The TS1  is Two Rock’s homage to the legendary Dumble Overdrive Special amplifier. It is a 100 watt beast of an amp that can go from rich, deep cleans to some of the best amp overdrive we’ve ever heard. The clean and lead channels cascade into one another, allowing for a wide variety of tonal options.

The Goldfinger Super Lead has become one of our absolute favorite amps at Worship Tutorials. It features two channels – the Alpha (clean) channel and the Omega (dirty) channel. The Alpha channel reminds us of a vintage black-panel Fender amp, but with more midrange, and the Omega channel is one of the best Marshall Plexi tones we’ve ever heard in any amplifier.

IR (Impulse Response) Cabs made from a Bad Cat Cub ii R 2×10 amplifier. This amp came loaded with a pair of Celestion G10L-35 10″ speakers. These speakers pair very well with smaller wattage EL84 based amps.

The Badger 30 is an amp inspired by classic British (think: Marshall) designs. Like a JTM45 or lower wattage Plexi, it is capable of beautiful rich clean tones to vintage crunch, but with a bit more top end chime. It also works very well as a pedal platform amp.

IR (Impulse Response) Cabs made from a George Alessandro re-built Fender ’65 Deluxe Reverb. These amps come loaded with an Alessandro GA-SC64 speaker. These speakers are designed to sound like vintage speakers found in 60’s Fender amplifiers.

The Bad Cat Cub II R is a 15-watt EL84 based amp. Ours is in a 2×10 configuration and  was built during the ‘Sampson’ era at Bad Cat. The Cub II is a take on the 15 watt British amp heritage (think Vox AC15), but has a voice all it’s own. Plenty of chime, but lots of warmth as well.

The Mesa Boogie Lone Star is a bit of a modern classic. It is a two channel vintage voiced amplifier offered in a variety of formats. Ours is the 100w version in a 1×12 combo with an Electro-Voice EFM 12L speaker. This amp is capable of beautiful lush cleans in the clean channel, and the lead channel is thick and creamy.

The Orange OR120 is classic/vintage rock and roll. Orange is sometimes referred to as the ‘other British amp’. It’s voiced a bit different than Marshall, but the tones are equally as legendary in classic rock genres. The OR120 can go from clean to huge crunch tones.

The MIG-50 is essentially a Russian-made Fender Bassman. Sovtek was originally created by the founder of Electro-Harmonix, utilizing high quality Russian components. The MIG-50 sounds like a big, fat Bassman. It reminds us of the classic black-panel designs from Fender.

The first Super 17’s were partially made from Hammond organ parts. Over the years the Super 17 has gone through several iterations, but the originals are highly revered.

The Clubman is an EF86 powered amp that shares a bit of it’s DNA with both the flagship C-30 and the Chieftain. We feel like you can hear the character of both of those amps in the Clubman – you get the grind and thickness of the Chieftain with the chime and top end of the C-30. It’s quickly become one of our favorite Matchless amps.

The Rockerverb 100 mk3 from Orange is an impressively versatile amp with an absolutely awesome dirt channel.

The ‘Elmsly’ amp model is a Line 6 original that was introduced in with the 3.60 firmware for Helix and HX Stomp.

The ‘Edge’ Deluxe from Fender is a signature amp for The Edge from U2. The signature Edge 5e3 Deluxe features a few tweaks to the hand-wired circuit as well as a Celestion Alnico Blue speaker. The result is the familiar 5e3 Deluxe tone but with a bit more headroom and chime.

This amp is quite literally the sound of rock and roll – a 1971 Marshall 100w Super Lead. The modifications on this include internally jumping the two channels, so our patches and profiles reflect this. We captured the amp through a Bogner 2×12 cabinet using a Royer 121 and Earthworks SR25.

Our ’64 AC30 might look a bit beat up, but it sounds absolutely beautiful. This amp is simply legendary – Vox’s of this era have been and continue to be used by some of the most famous guitar players of all time, including The Beatles, The Edge (of U2), and Brian May (of Queen). Our has the original Alnico Silver speakers, and it is one of the best amps we’ve ever heard.

The Z-Wreck is a collaboration between Dr. Z, Ken Fischer (of Trainwreck Amps), and Brad Paisley. Together, they created the Z-Wreck in an effort to capture the tone of Brad Paisley’s vintage ’63 AC30. The Z-Wreck is a single channel, 30-watt EL84 amplifier, and it excels at the vintage AC30 tone. It also has a ton of headroom and works amazingly well as a pedal platform amplifier.
